2016 North Star Tour Championship

at The Jewel Golf Club (Lake City, MN)

The 2016 North Star Tour Championship will not only have a tournament champion but will also decide the 2016 North Star Tour Player of the Year.

The top 16 professionals and top 4 amateurs from the 2016 point list will face off at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, Minnesota. A par 71 links style course that measures 7,050 yards from the back tees. The invitation only event will be played over grueling matches of single elimination match play. The Amateurs will play off in their own match play bracket to determine our 2016 Amateur Player of the Year

Format

  • Invitation Only. In the case that one of the top 16 point leaders cannot play in the event, the next player on the points list will be invited as an alternate (and so on and so forth)
  • Match Play

Purse and Prizes

Player of the Year - $2,000
Match Play Champion - $2,000
